Enterprise Integration Products for a "Generic" Industry

The following describes products which might be used in a Generic Enterprise System (as opposed to a specific industry such as Oil Refining or Pulp and Paper). It includes the most common enterprise elements, but omits less common ones (such as marine operations or pipeline distribution). It has a typical multi-site corporate structure, and includes a continuous process manufacturing operation followed by a discrete manufacturing operation. Since it has the most common enterprise elements, it can be used as a "general case" for study, or as a "starting point" when setting up a new enterprise which does not have precidents in the more classical industry sectors.

First, select the enterprise "Phase" where the products will be applied.
