Enterprise Architecture: An Overview by Yogesh Malhotra, University of Pittsburgh, 1996

This paper defines the following types of Enterprise Architectures which he substantiates with references to the literature.

The Strategic Capabilities Architecture and the Business Architecture describe concepts which are addressed within the Master Planning Phase of PERA (including "To-Be and "As-Is" planning, and concepts of progressive development). The Information Architecture describes elements which are part of a PERA "Type 2" Control and Information Systems architecture.
